11. Norwegian Escape
In 2015, Norwegian Escape became the first NCL ship to be supplied with an exhaust gas cleaning system (EGC), a technology that “cleanses” sulfur oxide and other harmful particles. The system has been retrofitted or added to other ships, allowing them to operate in areas such as Alaska, where strict environmental regulations exist.
12. Liberty of the Seas
Another major Royal Caribbean yacht, the Liberty of the Sea, which received a tonnage after its renovations in 2016. It overtook its sister ship groups, Freedom of the Sea and Independence of the Sea.
The featured entertainment features onboard are the FlowRider surf system, 3D cinema, and Tidal Wave, the first sea boomerang slide to be deployed. The three-story dining room is also highly rated, each level is named after an Italian painter during the Renaissance.
13. Norwegian Epic
With prime capacity With a maximum of 4,100 people, Norwegian Epic is a ship of Norway’s free travel philosophy when ignoring rigid procedures and schedules.
Onboard entertainment programs including “Ballroom Blitz” and “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” have received several awards such as the title “Best onboard entertainment” from Frommer’s travel guide series.
Single travelers who want to socialize will be pleased to know that there are smaller studios on board with separate living rooms. In case, guests do not like the warm outside temperature, they can be more comfortable with the onboard bar, where the temperature is always at -8 degrees.
14. Freedom of the Seas
Like most listed cruise ships, Freedom of the Seas was the world’s largest cruise ship when it first appeared. Recently, the cruise has moved from Florida to the new homeport of Puerto Rico. It served a 7-night tour of the South Caribbean Sea.
Onboard, guests can enjoy FreedomFest. This event brings together all the best onboard, such as the best food options as well as live performances.
15. Independence of the Seas
The Freedom Caribbean Royal fleet is the largest passenger ship in the world until the Oasis group launch. Despite being “outdated” by newer and larger ships, Liberty of the Sea and Independence of the Sea are still on this list. Independence of the Sea has 15 floors, 339m wide, ranked 15th.
The yacht is currently operating outside the ports of Everglades, Florida in the winter and Southampton, England in the summer.
